The point is that that betting on a tie brings the house edge of nearly sixteen percent, while bets on a player and a banker have a much smaller house edge (1.3 and 1 percent respectively). The smaller percentage is the more odds for a player to win in the long run. Having paid a five percent brokerage, you still derive a certain income. A winning bet on a player has a payout of one to one, and a winning bet on a banker has a payout of nineteen to twenty. If you bet on a tie, you will get nine dollars of each dollar you have betted. If a tie is an outcome, then all bets should be returned to a player. American baccarat strategies consist in the following: you can bet either on a banker or on a player or on a tie.
